The starting salary range for this position is $190,000 - $200,000 depending on experience with an attractive range of benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, 401k matching, paid time-off and a flexible/ alternate work schedule. Relocation reimbursement is available.
The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority is seeking a Director of Engineering and Project Delivery, a senior leader within the Planning and Development division at Hollywood Burbank Airport, reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, Planning and Development. This pivotal role oversees all engineering design, construction, and development initiatives at the Airport. With direct managerial responsibility over staff and technical consultants, the Director ensures the successful execution of capital improvement projects that support the Airport’s long-term strategic goals. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related discipline. Current and valid registration as a licensed Civil Engineer, Professional Engineer or Architect in the State of California or the ability to obtain within the first year of employment is highly desired. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in engineering or architecture, including staff supervision.

Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) is categorized as a medium-hub primary commercial facility three miles northwest of downtown Burbank, in Los Angeles County, California. In calendar year 2024, BUR served more than 6.5 million passengers and handled 75 million pounds of cargo. There were more than 155,000 total aircraft operations. The Airport is owned and operated by the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority (BGPAA). The Airport Authority contracts with TBI Airport Management, Inc. (TBI AM) to operate the Airport.
